ARI Announces 2012–13 Officers

The annual meeting of Alpaca Registry, Inc. was held on May 26th in Louisville, Kentucky, in conjunction with the AOBA National Show. At the meeting, President Bonnie Potter and Executive Director Darby Vannier updated the membership on the activities of the past year along with the financial performance and status of the organization. Additionally, Election Committee Chair, Larry Dietsch, presented the election results from this year’s election. In conjunction with AOBA, we also honored fellow Board Member Jim King who unexpectedly passed away in April. The James G. King Alpaca Industry Recognition Award was created in his honor and will be given by the ARI and AOBA Boards each year to a deserving individual. This year’s presentation honored Jim and can be viewed online by clicking HERE.
