New! ARI Registration Copy Available by Email & Fax!

Have you ever been in a rush to get a copy of your registration certificate because you needed to register for a show or auction? In the past, your only option was to request priority processing at a cost of $75.00 per certificate so that you could have the certificate sent over-night to you. Well no more!

You can now have an official copy of the certificate emailed or faxed to you as soon as all the pieces of your registration or transfer are complete, instead of waiting until the ARI office prints and mails certificates, which only happens once per week.

When registering or transferring an alpaca online you now have three additional certificate delivery options:

  1. Email Certificate — For $5.00 the system will send you an email with an attached PDF copy of the certificate when the registration or transfer is complete (lab, signatures, etc.). This will happen 24/7 as it is an automated process. This certificate is identical to the original except it is in black and white, not color. It is not meant to replace the original certificate, which will still be printed and mailed to you. This service is also available to you after the alpaca is already registered, in case you need an official copy.
  2. Fax Certificate — For $25.00 we will fax a copy of the certificate once the registration or transfer is complete (lab, signatures, etc.). This will only happen during regular business hours (Mondays through Thursdays) because staff must manually send the fax. Again, this certificate is identical to the original but in black and white and is not meant to replace the original, which will still be printed and mailed to you. As with the emailed certificate, this service is also available to you after the alpaca is already registered, in case you need another official copy.
  3. Overnight Certificate (formerly called Priority Processing) — For $75.00, once the registration or transfer is complete (lab, signatures, etc.), we will immediately print the original certificate and send it to you via FedEx overnight. This will only happen during regular business hours (Mondays through Thursdays) because it requires staff to accomplish.

There is one restriction for the email and fax service. In order to adhere to ARI’s strict privacy rules, the certificates can only be emailed or faxed to the email or fax associated with the account that the alpaca is registered to. If you wish to send it to a Show Superintendent you will need to forward it to them yourself after you receive it.

We have worked closely with the AOBA office and Show Rules Committee to ensure these certificates will be acceptable for registration in AOBA certified shows. These are official copies of the ARI certificate and will be treated no differently than the original certificate for AOBA certified shows.

We are happy to be able to offer certificate email and fax options to our members and hope that you will take advantage of this new service.
