Downloadable EPD Report Now Available

As EPDs have become more widely adopted by the membership, we have been working to add valuable tools to the ARI website that will help you more easily access and utilize this information.

In addition to the EPD tools already available to you in the members section under the “Alpacas” menu, you now have a new tool that has many possibilities. This new report is called “EPD Report” and when executed will produce an Excel/CSV file that contains a list of all the alpacas that have EPDs in your herd along with their EPD values and accuracies for every trait for which EPDs have been run.

We are pleased to be able to offer this report which provides the information in a way that enables you to sort, copy, rearrange, and use it in whatever manner you choose.

If you do not already have EPDs or have not been participating, please read the Shear Report Instructions in the EPD section of ariACADEMY to learn how to submit your fleece samples. Also, please consider submitting your historical Yocom-McColl histograms to the ariEPD program. For only one dollar, Yocom-McColl will forward your historic histogram data to ARI for inclusion in the next EPD calculation. This can be done by filling out the Yocom-McColl Historical Histogram Data Request Form and submitting it directly to Yocom-McColl.
