We wanted to let you know that the governing Boards of both Alpaca Registry, Inc. (ARI) and Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association (AOBA) have agreed to move ahead with the establishment of a Joint Strategic Planning Committee which will be charged with researching and developing a unification and/or collaborative plan representing a unified vision to be presented to both Boards. The first meeting was held Wednesday, August 29. We are delighted with this development and will keep you informed as we move along with this process.
The designated Board members from each Board serving on this Sub-committee are: Shauna Brummet, John Ferrante, and Laurel Shouvlin from ARI and Libby Forstner, Dianna Jordan, and Scott Miller from AOBA. Margie Ault and Darby Vannier will represent the staffs. We look forward to continuing this work on behalf of both organizations.
